Cardiac Unit
Mediclinic Heart Hospital has two catheterisation laboratories where we provide diagnostic and therapeutic imaging, that amongst others, include coronary angiograms and angioplasties, coronary and vascular stent placements, ablations and the implantation of pacemakers / ICDs. To support this unit we have a list of highly skilled and experienced Cardiologist on site.
24 Hour Emergency Centre
The 24 hour emergency centre is fully staffed by doctors and professional nurses trained in life-saving techniques and supported by state-of-the-art technology, making specialist care available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. A specialist call roster enables the doctor on duty to call upon a wide spectrum of specialist advise and support when treating a patient. We make use of the international triage system and each patient will be triaged and seen by the doctor accordingly. The unit has 24-hour access to radiology for CT and x-rays as well as to an onsite Pathology Laboratory.

Adult Critical Care Units
The two critical care units are highly specialised facilities with state-of-the-art equipment. These units are staffed by highly trained nursing personnel and supported by highly skilled medical specialists and associated professionals in private practice.
Retail pharmacy
Our Pharmacy hours are from 08:00-18:00 and is contracted to all major medical aids. We are conveniently situated for easy access. Your chronic medication scripts can be handed in directly after consultation for easy access to your medication. We also stock toiletries and over the counter medication for those non emergency, emergencies.
