At Mediclinic Louis Leipoldt, we understand that a team of professionals is needed to ensure that our patients receive the best possible outcomes and are able to enjoy life to the fullest.
Emergency Centre
The 24-hour Emergency Centre is constantly manned by highly qualified trauma personnel, which includes a doctor. Patients have access to all hospital facilities and associated specialists. We make use of the international triage system, whereby each patient is triaged and seen by the doctor accordingly.
Adult and Neonatal Critical Care and High Care Units
Our critical care units are outfitted with state-of-the-art, specialised equipment and staffed by specialist nursing personnel who, in turn, are supported by skilled medical specialists and other professionals in private practice.
The Neonatal Critical Care Unit promotes and utilises kangaroo nurturing, in which the mother holds her baby under her clothes and close to her body to promote parent-child bonding.
Paediatric Critical Care and High Care Units
Highly specialised and dedicated medical and nursing personnel play an essential role in paediatric critical care and treatment.
