You can book your hospital stay as soon as your pregnancy is confirmed. The sooner you do this the better, as knowing all the details have been taken care of is good for your peace of mind.
Mediclinic hospitals and the Mediclinic Baby programme offer obstetric unit tours, open days and information sessions on a regular basis. You can enquire about these online or from the Mediclinic hospital nearest to you.
Pre-admission
Babies do not always arrive when expected. To make sure your hospital is ready to admit you, visit the pre-admission centre at the hospital as soon as possible, at the latest 48 hours before your expected delivery date, to confirm your booking. To download the pre-admission form click here.

Private and semi-private rooms
Our private rooms offer comfort and privacy for you and your family. Unfortunately, they cannot be booked in advance and are usually not covered by medical aid. If you would like to book a private room, please enquire on the day of admission to see whether one is available. Payment for private rooms is received in cash when you are discharged.
